{"id":102,"date":"2009-05-14T02:32:12","date_gmt":"2009-05-14T09:32:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.audreyy.com\/?p=102"},"modified":"2009-05-14T02:32:12","modified_gmt":"2009-05-14T09:32:12","slug":"april-flowers-visitors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.audreyy.com\/?p=102","title":{"rendered":"April, flowers, visitors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>April was BUSY.\u00c2\u00a0 Busy because lots of people came to visit, and the weather got a littttle bit warmer so people here started coming out of their holes.\u00c2\u00a0 People and flowers.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 It was like (mentally) getting dropped into a world of white-pink clouds.\u00c2\u00a0 If you ever have the chance to visit Japan in cherry blossom season, it&#8217;s not over-hyped.\u00c2\u00a0 And like sunsets, the pictures never quite do it justice &#8211; the fun and wonder really comes from just being there, surrounded by these things immediately and peripherally.\u00c2\u00a0 (And a good part of it comes from everyone else keeping them in the backs of their minds too).<\/p>\n<p>It was great taking a little walk at lunch, and seeing a middle aged suit taking pictures with his phone.\u00c2\u00a0 Next to the punk stripey-socked girl also taking pictures with her phone.\u00c2\u00a0 Both of them looking at the screen, slightly shaking their heads, and looking back up with a little smile.<\/p>\n<p>Some other highlights of the month include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>getting a ride through Tsukiji on a fish cart! With fish!
