(I actually chalk this up to very slow reflexes. By the time my brain processes a reasonable response, the crisis is usually over). <\/p>\n
Let’s take, for instance, house hunting. Oft compared to an angry vortex of bouncing yo-yos; this menace threatens to crack open your skull and devour your innards over the next 30 years at a fixed rate. So many little subjective factors. So many hard, cold numbers. Big ones. Looping back and whizzing by. Trapezing just in front of your nose. <\/p>\n

Oh yes, house hunting. Kinda hard not to get sucked into making a move when you shouldn’t. I think I’ll need to be exercising my “neutralization” superpowers quite a bit in the coming months. Especially as I’m still sort of floating around (subletting), and don’t have a solid anchor to not get sucked away from. That is to say, since I don’t have a real home now, I have the additional weight of “tired of living out of suitcase” swinging about. <\/p>\n
Gotta practice laying some perspective down on these toys. And not letting my string get jerked around. <\/p>\n
